Kodak i1150 for Document Management with SharePoint

Using a low cost network scanner and Microsoft SharePoint for Office 365 it is possible for any size of business to get on top of the burgeoning paper mountain at a cost that is affordable.

We tested the new Kodak i1150 scanner and found it to the well matched to SharePoint when it comes to capturing information. This is a USB scanner which offers nine programmable SmartButtons and it can be configured to capture documents as the press of a button.

With a 50 page automatic document feeder (ADF) this scanner offers duplex scanning, converts to PDF and the included software lets you add SharePoint meta-data so that captured documents can easily be retrieved.
