Lenovo have announced a new 8in Windows tablet to rival the Apple iPad Mini. Running Microsoft Windows 8.1, this is a slim device measuring 132 mm x 224.3mm x 8.8mm (5.19 x 8.87 x 0.34 inches). The Lenovo ThinkPad heritage is clearly denoted by the sleek black aluminium body that is complemented by a distinctive red cover complete with magnetic attachment strip ( à la iPad). Flip back a diagonal flap on the cover and the Tablet 8’s cameras come to life, called QuickShot cover technology by Lenovo.
Using the latest Intel Bay trail quad core processor, this tablet should offer the magic combination of good battery life and high performance.
